TRADITIONAL CRAFTS HERITAGE

Burel Factory showcases the masterful craftsmanship of the Serra da Estrela region—the collaborative art of weavers who spin, card, and weave on traditional looms that have been in use since the 19th century.

LOCAL AND SUSTAINABLE

Wool from local sheep, which graze happily outdoors on the high plateaus of the mountains.

QUALITY AND COMFORT

The versatility of burel and its high durability ensure a wide range of applications, making it resistant to tension, tearing, pressure, and light exposure, and able to withstand heavy use without losing its color or shape. Quality combined with the comfort of pure wool.
