Artisanal Heritage

The Burel Factory promotes the mastery of Serra da Estrela's know-how, the art made by several hands that warp, card, spin and weave in ancestral machines that can be heard since the 19th century.

Made on Ancient Looms

Weaving done on an ancestral loom, finished by hand by masters of a skill handed down from generation to generation.

Local and Sustainable Wool

Wool from the local sheep, which graze happily in the open air on the upper plateaus of the Mountain.
