The interior refurbishment was conceived as an integrated intervention focused on improving environmental comfort and building performance through strategic burel application. Wall claddings optimise acoustic and thermal behaviour, controlling reverberation and enhancing insulation in line with mountain hotel requirements. A textile ceiling installation in the restaurant further contributes to spatial quality.
The project synthesises architecture, materiality, and identity, reinforcing the connection between Casa de São Lourenço and Burel Factory within the Burel Mountain Originals universe.
