Modular burel panels were integrated into the walls, playing an active role
in spatial definition and acoustic performance. The continuous presence of the
material across different planes enables distributed sound absorption, reducing
unwanted reflections and promoting an acoustically balanced interior.

The application of modular panels articulates planes, rhythms, and depths,
introducing controlled visual dynamism without compromising formal clarity.
Surface cladding adds perceptual thickness and sensory quality, demonstrating
burel’s potential as a technical material capable of structuring space,
enhancing user experience, and contributing simultaneously to acoustic and
thermal comfort.
