Niches were created and clad in burel, conceived as micro-environments offering high acoustic and sensory comfort. Material continuity between vertical and horizontal surfaces enhances localized sound absorption, reducing reverberation and promoting privacy in individual or semi-collective areas. The project also included small burel furniture pieces.
Additionally, the project integrated hand-embroidered burel wall panels with 3D Points, exploring tridimensionality as a strategy for sound diffusion and absorption. The relief created by embroidery increases surface complexity and promotes sound wave dispersion, contributing to a more acoustically controlled environment suited to high-quality spatial contexts.
