Exhibition of manually embroidered acoustic panels with 3D stitching, conceived to demonstrate the integration between acoustic performance and material expression. The embroidery’s volumetry increases surface area and sound diffusion, enhancing absorption across frequency ranges and improving reverberation control. This approach highlights burel as an effective technical solution capable of incorporating aesthetic language and cultural identity.
The installation was complemented with burel furniture pieces that reinforced overall environmental comfort, acting as additional sound-absorbing elements. The combination of textile surfaces, padded geometries, and material mass created a sensorially balanced atmosphere where ergonomics, performance, and formal differentiation coexist.
